As an electronic engineer, having a home lab offers an invaluable space for hands-on experimentation and learning.It provides me the freedom to explore various devices and configurations, reinforcing theoretical knowledge with practical application. This flexibility fosters innovation and prepare me for real-world challenges. In summary, a home lab helps me as a personalized training ground to develop skills, solve problems creatively, and stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

I developed, in collaboration with the National University of the South UNS-DIEC, a prototype of a nominal voting registration system for the municipal legislative process of the Honorable Deliberative Council of Bahía Blanca (HCD-BB), aiming to digitize and streamline deliberative sessions, facilitating project handling and maintaining a transparent record of results. This comprehensive approach encompasses both hardware and software through a Fullstack implementation. The system's IoT architecture comprises five layers, from perception to application and negotiation, employing technologies such as a Microcontroller (SOC), touch sensors, display, and RFID reader for the voting booth, Wi-Fi (transport), LAMP server (processing), and for application and negotiation: Front End: HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), Javascript, Back-end: PHP, Database: MySQL.

To develop the voting system, an ESP-12E / NodeMcu v1.0-V2 SOC (System on a Chip) was used as the IoT sensory layer, featuring an 80 MHz Tensilica Xtensa LX106 RISC microprocessor with native Wi-Fi connection used for the transport layer. Information presentation occurs on a 20x4 LCD display with I2C serial connection, and user interaction with the device is facilitated by capacitive touch sensor buttons (TTP223). Users are registered via a contactless card utilizing an RFID-RC522(SPI) reading module. For programming the NodeMcu module, C++ language and the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) were employed, installing the Esp8266 board manager (esp8266 by ESP8266 Community).
